The Department of Infectious Diseases at SIUT was established in the year 2007 for infections management and control for the immunocompromised population of renal transplantation. The Department has three out-patient clinics providing treatment for tuberculosis, malaria, sexually transmitted diseases and infections, HIV-Aids and pre-op surgical patients.

The Infectious Diseases department at Services Hospital Lahore is providing comprehensive HIV treatment and care services including free antiretroviral therapy, management of opportunistic infections, voluntary counseling and testing, management of chronic care of HIV related infections, control of sexually transmitted diseases, prevention of parent to child transmission and blood safety.
