Specialization: National Electric Power Regulatory Authority - NEPRA is an autonomous licensing and regulatory body established in 1997 to regulate the generation, transmission and distribution of electric power in Pakistan. NEPRA has the authority to specify procedures and standards for the registration of companies providing electric power services. NEPRA also determine tariff, rates, charges and other terms and conditions for supply of electric power services by the generation, transmission and distribution companies and advises the government in the formulation of national electricity plan.
